1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4671
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4671, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 1, on page 1, by replacing line 5 with the following:
5 "Sections 3, 8, 11, 13, and 24 as follows:"; and

6 on page 5, line 4, by replacing "humanely" with "~~humanely~~"; and

7 on page 9, immediately below line 10, by inserting the
8 following:

9     "(510 ILCS 5/24)  (from Ch. 8, par. 374)
10     Sec. 24. Nothing in this Act shall be held to limit in any
11 manner the power of any municipality or other political
12 subdivision to prohibit animals from running at large, nor
13 shall anything in this Act be construed to, in any manner,
14 limit the power of any municipality or other political
15 subdivision to further control and regulate dogs, cats, or

1 other animals in such municipality or other political
2 subdivision provided that no regulation, policy,or ordinance
3 is specific to breed.
