AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4908

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4908 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Higher Education Student Assistance Act is amended by adding Section 123 as follows:

(110 ILCS 947/123 new)

Sec. 123. Union prohibition. No student at a qualified institution may be compelled to join a union or pay union dues as a condition of receiving any scholarship assistance or waiver of tuition provided by the Commission, another State agency, or the institution itself.".
