AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3217

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3217 as follows:

on page 2, by replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:

"families which shall include any relative by blood or marriage or foster and adopted children."; and

on page 2, by replacing line 6 with the following:

"relative by blood or marriage or foster"; and

on page 2, by replacing line 13 with the following:

"blood or marriage or foster and adopted"; and

on page 4, line 24, after the period, by inserting the following:

"A single economic unit includes any person who contemplates or intends some degree of permanency in living in the household and participates in the maintenance of the household, including without limitation domestic partners, persons sharing an apartment, condominium, house, or other dwelling unit, and persons in legal guardian relationships, such as foster children, minors, and disabled persons.".
