SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
105 ILCS 5/18-4.5

    Amends the School Code to provide that, except for those children qualifying under the Article of the Code concerning children with disabilities, school districts shall be eligible to receive reimbursement for all children requiring home or hospital instruction at not more than $1,000 annually per child or $9,000 (instead of $8,000) per teacher, whichever is less.

1    AN ACT concerning education.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section
518-4.5 as follows:
 
6    (105 ILCS 5/18-4.5)
7    Sec. 18-4.5. Home Hospital Grants. Except for those
8children qualifying under Article 14, school districts shall be
9eligible to receive reimbursement for all children requiring
10home or hospital instruction at not more than $1,000 annually
11per child or $9,000 $8,000 per teacher, whichever is less.
