AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5039

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5039 as follows:

on page 1, line 7, by replacing "Police officer or fire officer" with "Police officer, or fire officer, or paramedic"; and

on page 1, line 9, after "of", by inserting "(i)"; and

on page 1, line 13, after "State", by inserting "or (ii) paramedics killed or permanently disabled with 90% to 100% disability in the line of duty while employed by a municipality in this State"; and

on page 1, line 15, after "officers", by inserting "and disabled paramedics".
