AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1041

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1041 as follows:

on page 3, line 2 by inserting ""Public works" does not include projects that are undertaken by community action association agencies in administrating and completing projects that receive federal funding." after "residence."; and

on page 4, by inserting the following after line 11:

"In cases where laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed on public works projects containing over $2,000 in federal funds are subject to a collective bargaining agreement permitting the employer to utilize alternate work scheduling (including, but not limited to, working 4 10-hour days at the base contract wage rate), the employer may act in accordance with those portions of the collective bargaining agreement without being in violation of this Act.".
