AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5888

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5888 on page 2, immediately below line 15, by inserting the following:

"(v) In an arbitration proceeding between a public employer and a labor organization, as those terms are defined by the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act, the arbitrators shall be confined to interpreting the collective bargaining agreement unless some other standard is agreed to by the parties.".
