AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2022

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2022 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding Section 25-5-30 as follows:

(735 ILCS 30/25-5-30 new)

Sec. 25-5-30. Quick-take; City of Country Club Hills. Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a period of no longer than one year from the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly by the City of Country Club Hills for the acquisition of the following described property for the purpose of building streets, roadways, or other public improvements to serve the City's I-57/I-80 Tax Increment Financing District:
