1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2124
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2124, AS AMENDED,
3 in Section 5, in Sec. 9-106, by inserting at the end of
4 subsection (c) the following:
5 "This subsection (c) does not apply to public housing,
6 assisted under the United States Housing Act of 1937, as
7 amended, 42 U.S.C. 1437 et seq., and its implementing
8 regulations. Public housing includes dwelling units in
9 mixed-finance projects that are assisted through a public
10 housing authority's capital, operating, or other funds as well
11 as tenant-based and project-based units under the auspices of
12 the Housing Choice Voucher program.".
