 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3447

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  3447  on  page  4,
 3    line  1,  by  replacing  "The  Department"  with  "Subject to
 4    appropriations, the Department"; and

 5    on page 4,  immediately  below  line  10,  by  inserting  the
 6    following:
 7        "If the Department and the personal care attendants reach
 8    any  collective  bargaining agreement regarding the wages and
 9    benefits they receive for providing services,  the  terms  of
10    that  agreement  regarding wages and benefits shall supercede
11    any terms of this Section regarding wages and benefits.".
