 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1533

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1533  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section  5.  The  Counties  Code  is  amended  by adding
 5    Section 1121.1 as follows:

 6        (55 ILCS 5/5-1121.1 new)
 7        Sec.  5-1121.1.  Permit   system   for   unoccupied   and
 8    unimproved  buildings.  The  county  board  of any county may
 9    develop a permit system  for  the  purpose  of  tracking  and
10    monitoring  unoccupied  and  unimproved buildings that pose a
11    threat to the public health, safety, or welfare.".
