215 ILCS 5/357.29  from Ch. 73, par. 969.29

    Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning provisions in accident and health insurance policies permitted or required by other jurisdictions.

1    AN ACT concerning regulation.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
5changing Section 357.29 as follows:
 
6    (215 ILCS 5/357.29)  (from Ch. 73, par. 969.29)
7    Sec. 357.29. Any policy of a foreign or alien company, when
8delivered or issued for delivery to any person in this State,
9may contain any provision which is not less favorable to the
10the insured or the beneficiary than the provisions of this
11article and which is prescribed or required by the law of the
12state under which the company is organized.
13    Any policy of a domestic company may, when issued for
14delivery in any other state or country, contain any provision
15permitted or required by the laws of such other state or
16country.
