SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kenneth Eugene Taylor of East Alton, who passed away on February 2, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Taylor was born in St. Charles, Missouri on January 18, 1944 to Sylvester and Agnes (nee Cleary) Taylor; he was raised in Alton and attended Marquette High School and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville; he married Faye Connor; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Taylor was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Taylor is survived by his children, Kenneth, Jr. (Diane), Elizabeth Burnside, Julie (James) Merritt, Cathy Taylor, and Mary (J.W.) Flowers; his 15 grandchildren; his numerous nieces and nephews; and his siblings; Sylvester, Jr., Margie (Bill) Levi, Shirley Jones, Dennis (Sarah) Taylor, Linda (Bob) Domine, Kevin (Robin) Taylor, Connie (David) Fink, Ruth Ann (Robert) Kult, Kermit (Lori) Taylor, Barb Taylor, Dawn (Mike) Morgan, Donald Taylor, and Lori (Chris) Beilsmith; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kenneth Eugene Taylor, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kenneth Taylor as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
