SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Joseph H. Warner of Rantoul, who passed away on December 1, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Warner was born on September 5, 1945 in Urbana; his parents were Harold and Justena (nee Glazik) Warner; he married Deborah Murray on November 30, 1991, at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Rantoul; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Warner was a hardworking businessman his entire life and was always very entrepreneurial-minded; he held business interests in numerous companies, including Warner Brothers Inc., Warner Farm Equipment, United Developers, Warner Brothers Welding, Phillips-Warner LLC, and Joe Warner Rentals; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Warner enjoyed fishing and trapshooting and had a large gun collection; he also enjoyed taking long drives in the country looking at the fields and checking the crops; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Warner is survived by his wife, Deborah; his daughters, Kristi (Mark) Pflugmacher and Kathy Warner McBride; his brothers, Albert (Joann) Warner, Phil (Janet) Warner, Gene Warner, and Kenny (Vicki) Warner; his sister, Marilyn (Roger) Babb; and his grandson, Owen McBride; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph H. Warner; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joseph Warner as an expression of our sympathy.
