SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph H. Warner of Rantoul, who passed
4away on December 1, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Warner was born on September 5, 1945 in
6Urbana; his parents were Harold and Justena (nee Glazik)
7Warner; he married Deborah Murray on November 30, 1991, at St.
8Malachy Catholic Church in Rantoul; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Joseph Warner was a hardworking businessman his
10entire life and was always very entrepreneurial-minded; he held
11business interests in numerous companies, including Warner
12Brothers Inc., Warner Farm Equipment, United Developers,
13Warner Brothers Welding, Phillips-Warner LLC, and Joe Warner
14Rentals; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Joseph Warner enjoyed fishing and trapshooting
16and had a large gun collection; he also enjoyed taking long
17drives in the country looking at the fields and checking the
18crops; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Joseph Warner is survived by his wife, Deborah;
20his daughters, Kristi (Mark) Pflugmacher and Kathy Warner
21McBride; his brothers, Albert (Joann) Warner, Phil (Janet)

1Warner, Gene Warner, and Kenny (Vicki) Warner; his sister,
2Marilyn (Roger) Babb; and his grandson, Owen McBride;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph H. Warner; and
7be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Joseph Warner as an expression of
10our sympathy.
