SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Theresa Ann "Terri" (nee Farmer) Micetich of Joliet, who passed away on May 2, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Theresa Micetich was born in Hammond, Indiana, where she was raised and graduated from Boone Grove High School; she subsequently earned her associate's degree from Joliet Junior College and her bachelor's degree from City Vision College in Kansas City, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, Theresa Micetich served as the Director of Development at Morning Star Mission for the past 10 years; and

WHEREAS, Theresa Micetich was a member of the Holly Club and the V and A Society; she also enjoyed sewing and quilting; and

WHEREAS, Theresa Micetich was the beloved mother of John C. Murphy, Joseph R. Murphy, and David M. Micetich; the loving daughter of David and Marilyn (Perzee) Farmer; the dearest sister of David Jr., Deborah Farmer, and the late John Farmer; the proud aunt of Matthew and Marilyn DiMonte and Caleb Stevenson; the cherished niece of the late Melvin (Trudy) Perzee, Thomas (Janet) Perzee, John (Janet) Perzee, Sandra Perzee, Raymond (Maryann) Perzee, the late Ed (Christine) Farmer, Herschel (Elsie) Farmer, Faye (late Eugene) Mundy, Louis (Patricia) Farmer, Joseph (Kimberly) Farmer, Mary (David) Story, Ruthie Farmer the and Martha (late Donnie) Chambers; and the cousin of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Theresa Ann "Terri" Micetich; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Theresa Micetich as an expression of our sympathy.
