SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Olive M. Frame of Woodstock, who passed away on June 25, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Olive Frame was born on May 9, 1930 in Hebron; her parents were John W. and Agnes (nee O'Brien) Slavin; she married Wayne G. Frame on November 19, 1955 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hartland; and

WHEREAS, Olive Frame earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dominican University (formerly Rosary College) and her Master's Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University; and

WHEREAS, Olive Frame worked for nearly 40 years in the field of education; she was employed in the school districts of Hebron and Community Unit School District 200 in Woodstock; she also enjoyed volunteering in Texas at St. Francis Xavier and the LaFeria Learning Center; and

WHEREAS, Olive Frame was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Joseph Slavin; and

WHEREAS, Olive Frame is survived by her husband, Wayne; 2 sons, Marc (Carol) Frame and Gregory Frame; 3 grandchildren, Elise (Tyler) Zacharias and Christopher and Caroline Frame; and a sister, Gina (Ron) Frame; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Olive M. Frame; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Olive Frame as an expression of our sympathy.
