HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Jacqueline A. Hines, who passed away on February 17, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Hines was born on May 26, 1954 in Greenville, Mississippi; her parents were Jossie James and Robert Sanders; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Hines moved to Chicago shortly after she was born; she received her education from Chicago Public Schools; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Hines was a member of Greater Open Door Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Reverend Richard Nelson; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Hines was preceded in death by her siblings, Robin, Lavonne, Jeanette, Robert, and Raymond James; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Hines is survived by her mother, Jossie James; 2 brothers, Ronald (Marie) James and Derrick James; her children, Jackie, Patricia, Melvin (Calitha), Micheal, Genise, Cedric (Kimberly) and Ray; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one grandson-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Jacqueline A. Hines; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jacqueline Hines as an expression of our sympathy.
