SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Richard Chester "Rich" Adamczewski, who passed away on October 4, 2022 at the age of 76; and

WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski was born on May 19, 1946 to the late Josephine and Chester Adamczewski and eventually moved to Forest Park; and

WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski graduated from Lane Tech High School, the University of Illinois Chicago, and the Illinois Institute of Technology; and

WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski was part of the Marine Corps Reserve and worked on the Friends of the Oak Park Library Book Fair; and

WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski enjoyed playing handball and volleyball, running, reading, and traveling and was an active member of Ascension Catholic Church and Saint Bernardine Church; and

WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski is survived by his wife, Doris Ann (Racansky); his children, Jonathan, Kristina, and Andrew; and his sister, Alicia; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Richard Chester "Rich" Adamczewski and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rich Adamczewski as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
