SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Judith A. Gengler of Aurora, who passed away on January 12, 2012; and

WHEREAS, She was born August 3, 1945 in Aurora, to the late Michael Meszaros and Betty Evans; and

WHEREAS, She enjoyed her trips to Florida and Arizona; she loved to garden and put together her puzzles; she was a secretary by profession but her true calling was being a grandma to her grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a 1963 graduate of East Aurora High School; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her stepsister, Delores Enk; her parents; and by her stepmother, Olive Meszaros; and

WHEREAS, Judith Gengler is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jack Gengler; her son, Pat (Kathy) Gengler; her daughter, Lorie (Mike) Garrone; her grandchildren, Jake, David, Alyssa, and Anna; her brothers, Michael Meszaros and Richard (Char) Meszaros; her stepbrother, Roger Light; her stepsisters, Char Henderson, Inga Ra (Bob) Hansen, and Nancy (Leonard) Freeberg; and her nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Judith Gengler; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Judith Gengler as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
