SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carlotta Pilibosian of Waukegan, who passed away on November 22, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Carlotta Pilibosian was born on August 26, 1920, in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin; she lived in the Waukegan area for many years; and

WHEREAS, Carlotta Pilibosian was employed as a seamstress and in retail at Heinz of Waukegan; she also worked as a beautician; and

WHEREAS, Carlotta Pilibosian was a member of St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church, the Red Hat Society, the ARS Ladies Guild, Altrusa, and Park Place Seniors; and

WHEREAS, Carlotta Pilibosian was preceded in death by her husband, Nishan Pilibosian; her parents, Elsie and Sarkis Hamparian; her brother, Harry Hamparian; and her sister, Marie Hamparian Beseres; and

WHEREAS, Carlotta Pilibosian is survived by her children, Sylvia Pilibosian Hagopian, John Pilibosian, and Roxana Pilibosian Hall; her grandchildren, Sonia Hagopian, Adrineh Nighaghosian, Hagop Hagopian, Kelly Holman, Nishan Pilibosian, and Kendra Pilibosian; her 10 great-grandchildren; and her many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Carlotta Pilibosian; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carlotta Pilibosian as an expression of our sympathy.
