SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Natalie Louise Wulff of Batavia, who passed away on December 14, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Wulff was born on September 3, 1919, in Chicago to William and Frances Gelis; she was a graduate of L.T.H.S. in La Grange and the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Wulff was united in marriage to Alfred J. Wulff on April 10, 1942, in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Wulff was a member at Aurora Press Glass, Hawthorn Reading Group, Provena Mercy Auxiliary, St. Ann's Society, Holy Angels Church in Aurora, and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Wulff was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Alfred Wulff; a twin son, Richard; her parents, William and Frances (nee Brixel) Gelis; and a sister, Adelle; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Wulff is survived by her children, William, Thomas, John (Pamela), Peter, Mary (Jim) Duffy, and Tim (Sue); her grandchildren, Carolyn (Trevor) Penick, Katherine (Greg) Carroll, Michael (Lindsay) Wulff, Elizabeth (Kevin) Meyer, Margaret (John) Trapp, and Julie, Joseph, Brian Wulff, and Jack Duffy; her great-grandchildren, Maddie, Emily, and Grace Carroll, and Max Penick; her many nieces and nephews; and many dear family members and friends, including Kristy Ryan Wulff and Sharon Roth; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Natalie Wulff, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Natalie Wulff as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
