HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ryan James Nichols of Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 22, 2011; and

WHEREAS, He was born December 12, 1976 in Libertyville, the son of James and Jacalyn (Robertson) Nichols; he was a graduate of University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a degree in civil engineering and had worked for the past 8 years as a civil engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation; and

WHEREAS, On January 15, 2005, he married Christine Koza in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan; he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, and son-in-law; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Nichols is survived by his devoted wife, Christine; his beloved children, Hudson, and twins Braxten and Broden; his dear parents James and Jacalyn Nichols; his fond brother, Jason (Jenny) Nichols and their son, Alec; his sister, Courtney (Andre') Sears and their children, Camden and Kenley; his loving maternal grandmother, LaVerne Robertson; his dear father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anne and Anthony Koza; his sister-in-law, Renee' (Peter) Volpendesta; and his nephew, Gregory; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Ryan Nichols; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ryan Nichols as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
