SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Glenn B. Peterson of Kenosha, Wisconsin, formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on December 20, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was born on April 11, 1963, in Waukegan to Ernest Sr. and Charlotte Peterson; he married Sheila Chappell on October 12, 1991, in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was vice-president of Ernie Peterson Plumbing in Waukegan; he was a member of Plumbers Union Local #93, Lake County Contractor's Association, and the Plumbing and Heating Association of Lake & McHenry County; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was a member of various snowmobile clubs and a former member of the Zion-Benton Moose Lodge; he enjoyed snowmobiling, drag racing, cars, boating, motorcycles, and was a big "Mopar" fan; he loved doing anything that had to do with the outdoors; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Sr., and his brother, Ernest Jr.; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson is survived by his wife, Sheila; his children, Andrew (Kate) and Brittany Peterson and Michael Chappell; his granddaughter, Irelyn Picou "Girly Girl"; his mother, Charlotte Peterson; his brother, Ron (Michelle) Peterson; his sisters, Diane (Rich) Gallegos, Linda (Mark) Bentz, and Sharyn (David) Bernhoft; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Glenn Peterson, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Glenn Peterson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
