SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Glenn B. Peterson of Kenosha, Wisconsin,
4formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on December 20, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was born on April 11, 1963, in
6Waukegan to Ernest Sr. and Charlotte Peterson; he married
7Sheila Chappell on October 12, 1991, in Waukegan; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was vice-president of Ernie
9Peterson Plumbing in Waukegan; he was a member of Plumbers
10Union Local #93, Lake County Contractor's Association, and the
11Plumbing and Heating Association of Lake & McHenry County; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was a member of various snowmobile
13clubs and a former member of the Zion-Benton Moose Lodge; he
14enjoyed snowmobiling, drag racing, cars, boating, motorcycles,
15and was a big "Mopar" fan; he loved doing anything that had to
16do with the outdoors; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson was preceded in death by his
18father, Ernest Sr., and his brother, Ernest Jr.; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Glenn Peterson is survived by his wife, Sheila;
20his children, Andrew (Kate) and Brittany Peterson and Michael

1Chappell; his granddaughter, Irelyn Picou "Girly Girl"; his
2mother, Charlotte Peterson; his brother, Ron (Michelle)
3Peterson; his sisters, Diane (Rich) Gallegos, Linda (Mark)
4Bentz, and Sharyn (David) Bernhoft; and numerous nieces and
5nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Glenn Peterson, and we extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Glenn Peterson as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
