SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Matthew E. Fracaro Jr., who passed away on November 6, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Matthew E. Fracaro Jr. served his country with distinction in the United States Navy from 1986 to 1988; and

WHEREAS, Matthew E. Fracaro Jr. served as a Eucharistic Minister at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center; and

WHEREAS, Matthew E. Fracaro Jr. was a member of the 'Fishers of Men' and the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Patrick's Church; he was also a former Little League coach at Troy; and

WHEREAS, Matthew E. Fracaro Jr. was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame; and

WHEREAS, Matthew E. Fracaro Jr. was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nicholas Fracaro and Lois (nee Baldwin) Fracaro; and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Lapikas; and

WHEREAS, Matthew E. Fracaro Jr. is survived by his children, Jeremy and Molly; his parents, Matthew Fracaro Sr. and Lynn (Joseph) Briski; his brothers and sisters, Graig Fracaro, Jenna Fracaro, Joe (Karen) Briski, Paul (Melissa) Briski, and Jennifer (Brandon) Johnson; his maternal grandmother, Jane (Jack) McNeil; his grandparents, Joseph and Florence Briski; and his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Matthew E. Fracaro Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Matthew E. Fracaro Jr. as an expression of our sympathy.
