SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Robert Lee "Lee Dog" Brownfield of
4Havana, who passed away on January 28, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield was born to Barbara A. "Bobbie"
6Brownfield in Pekin on January 24, 1960; he served in the U.S.
7Army as a private first class with the Echo Tab 25th Field
8Artillery Wolf Pack at Camp Stanley in Korea until 1981; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield worked for Wareco and Tracer
10Industries; he was also a contractor in construction for Wes
11Hilst for many years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield became a life member of Havana
13VFW Post #6408 in March 2021; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield was preceded in death by his
15mother; his stepfather, Harold Yaeck; his grandparents, Henry
16"Hank" Brownfield and Jane Brownfield; and his dog, Rocky Dog;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield is survived by his brother,
19Ronald (Angela) Wubben; his sister, Deb Joseph; his
20stepbrother, David Wubben; his stepsister, Denise (Bernard)

1Biagini; his uncles, James L. Brownfield and Harold "Ed"
2(Susan) Brownfield; his aunt, Patty (Phil) Fox; several
3nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; and
4his beloved dog, Baby Girl; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Robert Lee "Lee Dog" Brownfield and extend our sincere
8condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
9him; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Robert Brownfield as an expression
12of our deepest sympathy.
