Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Economic Development for a Growing Economy Tax Credit Act and the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act in the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that each taxpayer or business that receive an EDGE credit or distributions from a special tax allocation fund, or a portion of the proceeds from obligations secured by a special tax allocation fund, must post a sign in a conspicuous place in its business, or on its website, thanking taxpayers for subsidizing the business. Effective immediately.
