Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for HB5870

Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Employees Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that a member who participated in the Secretary of State Yearlong Fellowship Program may establish creditable service for up to 2 years of that participation. Exempts the changes from provisions concerning new benefit increases. Effective immediately.
