AN ACT concerning civil law.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $7,033,333, based |
on the average of 3 certified appraisals, to the University of |
Illinois, the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois |
is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all rights, title, |
and interest in and to the following described land in Cook |
County, Illinois, to the Chicago Park District:

LOTS 1 TO 8 IN SPRY'S SUBDIVISION OF LOTS 11, 12 AND 13 OF |
BLOCK 8 OF DUNCAN'S ADDITION TO CHICAGO, A SUBDIVISION OF THE |
EAST 1/2 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, |
RANGE 14 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, |
ILLINOIS.

LOTS 4 TO 10 IN BLOCK 8 IN DUNCAN'S ADDITION TO CHICAGO, A |
SUB OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 17, |
TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL |
MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

Section 10. The Board of Trustees of the University of |
Illinois shall obtain a certified copy of this Act within 60 |
days after this Act's effective date and, upon receipt of the |
payment required by Section 5 of this Act, shall record the |
certified document in the Recorder's Office of Cook County, |
Illinois.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
