    AN ACT concerning State government.
  
 
    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
represented in the General Assembly:
  
 
 
    Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended  by 
adding Section 107 as follows:
 
    (5 ILCS 490/107 new)
    Sec. 107. Veterans Gardening Day. The first Saturday in 
May of each year is designated as Veterans Gardening Day to be 
observed throughout the State as a day set apart in the honor 
and remembrance of veterans and as celebrated with appropriate
