$DPR-IL CPA SOCIETY                                                        

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates $100,000, or so  much  of  that  amount  as  may  be      
   necessary,  from the Public Accountants' Registration and Disciplinary      
   Fund to the Department of Professional Regulation to contract with the      
   Illinois CPA Society for a feasibility study on  implementation  of  a      
   mandatory  peer  review requirement for licensure of public accounting      
   firms.  Effective July 1, 2001.
