INSURANCE-TECH                                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Insurance Code.  Makes technical changes in a      
   Section concerning loss of time benefits.                                   
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          215 ILCS 5/355.1                                                     
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          215 ILCS 5/155.37 new                                                
        Replaces  everything  after  the  enacting  clause.  Amends   the      
   Illinois    Insurance  Code.  Provides  that  with  respect to private      
   passenger automobile   insurance,  the  insurers  must  arbitrate  and      
   settle  all motor vehicle physical  damage claims between the insurers      
   in accordance with an automobile  subrogation program sponsored by the      
   intercompany  arbitration  organization    chosen  by   the   insurer.      
   Effective immediately.
