Short description: 
INS DRUG FORMULARY NOTICE                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Insurance Code.  Requires insurers to  notify      
   insureds  of changes in drug formularies.  Provides that notice may be      
   made by posting the  changes  on  the  insurer's  website.   Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.

        Amends the State Employees  Group  Insurance  Act  of  1971,  the      
   Health   Maintenance   Organization   Act,  the  Comprehensive  Health      
   Insurance Plan Act, the Limited Health Service Organization  Act,  and      
   the Voluntary Health Services Plans Act to require entities subject to      
   those Acts to comply with the drug formulary notice requirements.
