$CHGO TEACHER PENSION FUND                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Creates the Chicago Teacher Pension Fund Continuing Appropriation      
   Act.  Provides a continuing  appropriation  to  guarantee  payment  of      
   required  State  contributions  to  the  Chicago Teacher Pension Fund.      
   Effective July 1, 2001.                                                     
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          SB 671 would not have a fiscal impact, as it merely adds a           
          continuing appropriation for the required State contributions        
          to the Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund.
