Short description: 
LEAD POISON PREVENT-VIOLATION                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Lead Poisoning Prevention Act.   Makes  changes  in  a      
   Section  concerning  the violation of the Act.  Imposes a minimum fine      
   of $500 for an offense.  Provides that a person who violates any  rule      
   adopted  by the Department of Public Health under the Act or any order      
   of that Department issued under  the  Act  is  guilty  of  a  Class  A      
   misdemeanor.   Provides  that  each  day  of  a  continuing  violation      
   constitutes a separate violation.  Adds a Section concerning emergency      
   temporary  restraining  orders  and preliminary injunctions.  Provides      
   that the Attorney General or State's Attorney may  issue  a  temporary      
   restraining  order  or  preliminary  injunction without administrative      
   procedure or notice for violations  of  this  Act  that  endanger  the      
   health of children.  Effective immediately.
