PEN CD-UNIV-INCR DEATH BENEFIT                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the State Universities Article  of  the  Illinois  Pension      
   Code.    Increases  certain  death  benefits  from  $1,000  to $5,000.      
   Effective immediately.                                                      
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          The System's actuary has determined the cost of SB 414 to be         
          negligible.
