Senate Sponsors: DILLARD. Short description: VEH CD-EMERGENCY SERVICE PLATE Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to create the Emergency Services registration plate. Provides that a person who is employed by an Emergency Management Services and Disaster Agency or the Illinois Emergency Management Agency may receive an Emergency Services registration plate. Provides that the license plate shall cost an additional $15 to be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that the renewal of the license plate shall cost an additional $2 to be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that the design and color of the plates shall be wholly within the discretion of the Secretary of State.
