SEAT BELTS-CHILDREN UNDER 16
Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
Amends the Child Passenger Protection Act. Provides that every
person transporting a child 4 years of age or older but under the age
of 16 (instead of 6) in a passenger car or in a bus, truck, or motor
home weighing less than 9,000 pounds shall be responsible for securing
the child in a child restraint system or seat belts.
