RE-ENACTS PA 90-456 JUVENILE                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Juvenile Court Act of  1987.   Re-enacts  a  provision      
   relating  to  the period for commencing civil adjudicatory hearings in      
   abuse, neglect, and dependency  cases.    (This  provision  was  first      
   enacted as a part of Public Act 90-456, which has been held to violate      
   the  single  subject  rule  of  the  Illinois Constitution.)  Includes      
   findings and validation provisions.  Effective immediately.                 
          FISCAL NOTE (Illinois Department of Corrections)                     
          There will be no corrections or fiscal impact from HB 5999.          
          CORRECTIONAL NOTE (Illinois Department of Corrections)               
          Same as DOC fiscal note.                                             
          JUDICIAL NOTE (Office of Illinois Courts)                            
          HB 5999 would neither increase nor decrease the number               
          of judges needed in the State.
