CHILD SUPPORT-TECH                                                         

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Non-Support Punishment Act.  Makes a technical  change      
   in a Section concerning the Act's short title.                              
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          750 ILCS 16/1                                                        
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          735 ILCS 5/2-202                from Ch. 110, par. 2-202             
        Deletes  everything.  Amends  the  Code  of  Civil  Procedure  to      
   authorize private process servers in counties of 1,000,000 or more  in      
   cases in which a party is receiving child support enforcement services      
   from the Department of Public Aid. Effective July 1, 2002.
