REGULATION OF PROFESSIONS-TECH                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Professional Boxing Act.  Makes a technical change  in      
   a Section concerning permits for boxing contests.                           
          FISCAL NOTE, H-AM 1                                                  
          (Illinos Department of Professional Regulation)                      
          If there are no examinations required during the year, there         
          would be no new costs. However, if one licensee or applicant         
          requires a mental and physical examination, the estimated cost       
          would be approximately $4,000.                                       
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          225 ILCS 105/7                                                       
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          5 ILCS 80/4.13                  from Ch. 127, par. 1904.13           
          5 ILCS 80/4.17

        Replaces  everything  after  the  enacting  clause.  Amends   the      
   Regulatory  Sunset Act. Extends the repeal of the Environmental Health      
   Practitioner  Licensing  Act  to   January   1,   2007.   Amends   the      
   Environmental  Health  Practitioner  Licensing  Act.  Provides that it      
   shall be unlawful for any person to engage in an environmental  health      
   practice after the effective date unless the person is licensed by the      
   Department as an environmental health practitioner or an environmental      
   health practitioner in training.  Deletes a provision allowing certain      
   persons  to  be exempt from the examination requirement. Provides that      
   the Department may compel a person to submit to a mental  or  physical      
   examination,   or  both.  Provides  a  civil  penalty  for  unlicensed      
   practice. Effective immediately.
