House Sponsors: BOST-MITCHELL,BILL-HOLBROOK. Senate Sponsors: LUECHTEFELD Short description: VEH CD-PARKING TICKETS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides for issuance of EMS Personnel license plates, at an additional initial charge of $15 and an additional renewal charge of $2, with eligibility requirements to be determined by the Secretary of State. Provides that the $15 additional initial charge and the $2 renewal charge shall go to the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 625 ILCS 5/3-653 new Adds reference to: 30 ILCS 105/5.70 new 625 ILCS 5/3-654 new 625 ILCS 5/3-655 new Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the State Finance Act. Creates the Public Broadcasting Fund. Provides for the issuance of Illinois Public Broadcasting Stations special license plates. Provides for an additional original issuance fee of $40 and an additional renewal fee of $27. Provides that $25 of the original issuance fee and $25 of the renewal fee shall be deposited in the Public Broadcasting Fund. Provides that $15 of the original issuance fee and $2 of the renewal fee shall be deposited in the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that the Secretary of State shall pay all moneys in the Public Broadcasting Fund to the various Public Broadcasting System stations in Illinois for operating costs. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 625 ILCS 5/3-655 new Deletes the provision providing for issuance of EMS Personnel license plates. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2. Adds reference to: 625 ILCS 5/11-208.3 from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-208.3 Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides for computerized recording of parking ticket notices. Provides that computerized records of the ticket are presumed to be correct and are admissible in administrative or legal proceedings.
