Allows a surviving spouse without dependents to begin receiving survivor's benefits before attaining age 50. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) The System's actuary has estimated that HB 2369 would increase the accrued liability of SURS by $4.7 million. The increase in State contributions has not been calculated but is expected to be minor.
