Short description: 
JUV CT-ADULT CRIMINAL PROSECUT                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Juvenile  Court  Act  of  1987.   Provides  for  adult      
   criminal  prosecution  of  a minor who was at least 15 years of age at      
   the time of the offense who is charged with aggravated battery with  a      
   firearm  (whether  or  not  the  offense  was committed in a school or      
   within 1,000 of a school or on, boarding, or departing from  a  school      
   conveyance)  or  with  controlled  substance  trafficking,  calculated      
   criminal drug conspiracy, or criminal drug conspiracy.                      
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Provides that the requirement for  adult criminal prosecution  of      
   a  minor  who  was at least 15 years of age at the time of the offense      
   and who was charged with   aggravated battery with a firearm does  not      
   apply  if  the  charge  was  based  exclusively  on the accountability      
   provisions of the Criminal Code of 1961.
