Short description: 
PEN CD-ST POLICE-MINIMUM ANNTY                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the State Employee Article of the Illinois  Pension  Code.      
   Provides  a  minimum  monthly  retirement  annuity for persons with at      
   least  20  years  of  service  as  a   State   policeman.    Effective      
   immediately,                                                                
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          HB 1013 is expected to increase the System's accrued liability       
          by $19.7 million and increase total annual costs by $1.16            
          million. Actuarial estimates show that 263 members will be           
          affected.
