PEN CD-IMRF-PRE-EXISTING COND                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF)  Article  of      
   the Illinois Pension Code. Removes the pre-existing condition limita-       
   tion on temporary disability benefits for persons whose date of dis-        
   ability is after December 31, 2001. Amends the State Mandates Act to        
   require implementation without reimbursement. Effective January 1,          
   2002.
