INS PENALTY REDUCTION LIMIT                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the  Illinois  Insurance  Code.   Provides  that  a  civil      
   penalty  or  fine  imposed  for violation of the insurance laws of the      
   State may not be reduced administratively to  less  than  85%  of  the      
   civil penalty or fine initially imposed.
