DONAHUE. (WIRSING-KLINGLER-SMITH,MICHAEL) 210 ILCS 85/8 from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 149 Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Deletes the fee requirement for reviewing architectural plans for major construction with an estimated dollar value between $100,000 and $500,000. Provides that the fees charged for reviewing architectural plans with an estimated dollar value of more than $500,000 shall be established by the Department pursuant to rules that reflect the reasonable and direct cost of the Department in conducting the reviews. Provides that the estimated dollar value of the major construction that triggers the requirement of a fee shall be annually adjusted to reflect the increase in construction costs due to inflation.
