RONEN-MADIGAN,L-LIGHTFORD AND SILVERSTEIN. 220 ILCS 5/13-303 new Amends the Public Utilities Act. Authorizes the Commerce Commission to hear complaints regarding fraudulent or misleading practices allegedly committed by telecommunications carriers against their customers. Provides that the Commission may order a telecommunications carrier to refund to the aggrieved customers any amount that the carrier received as a result of the fraudulent or misleading practice. Effective immediately.
